Similar to our previous K18 service, OLAPLEX’s core intentions are to repair damaged hair. Most of these
treatments begin at the basin – once the colour/bleach has already been processed.
Now, with OLAPLEX’s new reformulated products, the magic works with the colouring/bleaching
process, nurturing your hair throughout the service.
So, rather than bleaching/colouring your hair first then treating damaged hair, it starts treating with the
colouring process, repairing the bonds as your colour is developing. This is an exciting new procedure,
as it means we are treating your hair when it is in its most fragile state.
OLAPLEX also have a range of products that are catered towards specific hair types – oily, frizzy, dry,
curly, thin etc. Meaning each treatment is specific towards you & your hair type.
Read below on a more in depth step-by-step process.
1. Book your appointment with your preferred stylist & mention you’d like an OLAPLEX treatment.
*Please note this doesn’t necessarily affect the timing of the appointment, so can be added into
the service on the day of appointment.
Ideally, the more notice the better so we can arrange the correct product for you & your hair type.
Ultimately, we will always consult on the day of your appointment if the treatment is best fitted for
you & your hair type.
2. At your appointment, we will discuss the process with you, including the products we recommend
for your at home hair care routine. OLAPLEX NO°1 is added to the colour or bleach.
3. Once your colour is processed, at the basin we apply OLAPLEX NO°2, when colour is rinsed.
4. Next, we then finish your service as normal, with your hair feeling refreshed, shiny, strong &
looking amazing! Using our recommended hair care routine in between your colour appointments.
Firstly, you receive professional expertise on the product. Our stylists have been trained by brand
representatives to know the ins & outs of the treatment. Also, our stylists have had years of experience &
have a wealth of knowledge to give you an educated consultation on what is best for your hair health.
Secondly, the at-home products & treatments are amazing! And most times, we often encourage our
clients to do so (depending on their individual hair needs of course). However, it is important to note the
home treatments were created to be your in-between salon treatments. They do not replace your salon
OLAPLEX treatment. The home kits are perfect for in-between colour appointments to keep your hair
feeling healthy & strong in the meantime. However, they are not created with the intensity & abilities of
the salon OLAPLEX treatments, where the real magic happens.
