Consultation
Your consultation is the most crucial part of your appointment. This is where you can voice your concerns about your hair, tell us what you love, what you don’t love, what your goals are and how you envision yourself leaving the salon.
It is so important for yourself and your stylist to be on the exact same page before we start your service and to have a mutual understanding of what your appointment will include that day.
In your consultation we will set an end goal that we will strive to achieve. It is key to understand that although we have an end goal in mind it may not always be achievable in one appointment and may take a few sessions to accomplish your desired outcome. The health of your hair is SO important to us! We don’t believe in risking your hairs integrity and pushing it past it’s limits. Sometimes patience is key when it comes to fulfilling your hair dreams and its important to trust your stylist and remember that they know what is best for your hair.
Photos are a great way to show us your inspiration! Your stylist will always love a photo reference, this is important for us to understand what you envision when explaining what you’re after. We can then discuss this photo with you and talk about what parts you love and what parts stand out to you most.
With photos it is also crucial to understand that there is “edited” or “ai generated” photos out there, meaning that even though a photo may look real and the hair looks beautiful, it may not be achievable at all!
This is why it’s so important to go into your consultation with an open mind and listen to your stylists professional recommendations.
Maintenance and care
Maitenance plays a HUGE part in sustaining your dream hair. If you are someone that isn’t wanting to come to the salon every 4 weeks, your stylist is definitely not going to recommend a colour that requires maximum upkeep. This is why its so important to be completely transparent with your stylist about how often you plan on visiting us, This way we can tailor your hair to suit your needs.
What you use on your hair at home can make or break the longevity of your colour. Make sure you are discussing with your stylist what products you should be using at home to ensure your hair is looking and feeling its absolute best. Trust your stylists recommendations and be sure to ask as many questions as you need and voice your concerns.
